Day 1-2 : Hanoi Arrival (B/L)
The tour commences today in Vietnam’s capital; the fantastic jumble of styles and influences that is modern-day Hanoi. Many of our customers choose to arrive a day or two early to give themselves a chance to get over the jetlag and get the most out of the tour. Whatever you choose we will have a member of staff there to meet you on arrival at Noi Bai International Airport and escort you the short distance to our hotel.
Our hotel in Hanoi is located bang in the heart of the city’s old town, surrounded by street food stalls, markets and cafés, and within a few minutes walk of Hoan Kiem Lake. Tonight, once all members of the group have arrived, we will venture out into the city to indulge in an included welcome dinner of your tour leader’s choice.
Ho Chi Minh died before the conclusion of the Vietnam War, but the reverence in which he was held was such that his body was preserved and a grand mausoleum created in Hanoi to allow the Vietnamese people to pay their respects. Our exploration of the city commences here on day two, at the complex that houses the Stalinist mausoleum, the Presidential Palace and Ho Chi Minh’s more humble private residence.
Our next stop is the Temple of Literature, Vietnam’s first university, constructed in 1070 with lovely gardens and well-preserved architecture. After lunch you are free to head off under your own steam, or see what your tour leader has planned. You may like to stop in at one of the city’s excellent museums – the recently-opened Ethnology Museum, where Vietnam’s diverse minority cultures are explained in a thoughtful and hands-on manner, and the Women’s Museum are both highly recommended.
Later this afternoon a visit to see the water puppets, a traditional northern Vietnamese folk art is included.
Day 3 : Hanoi – Soc Son Lake (B/L/D)
Get picked up in the morning from your Hanoi hotel, transferring by vehicle to Soc Son Lake, This lake is quite with hill and tree surounding.
, the lake has been stocked with 40 common carp between 18lbs-30lbs and 66 carp between 40lb-60lb.There are also 20 grass carp between 7lb-26lb. King of this lake is Black Carp up to 70lb The lake also contains pike to 14lb, catfish, bighead carp…
After full day for fishing there, You will be transfered to Yen Bai, Check-in hotel and Overnight in Yen Bai
Day 4 : Yen Bai Lake (B/L/D)
After breakfast, head off to Yen Bai Lake where you’ll spend at least 8hours for fishing there.
To save time for fishing , Lunch will be served on the lake bank at your fishing place.
Carp here are dream fish, some up to 68lb…
In late of this afternoon, and then continue to Lao Cai, check in at your hotel and have time to see the Chinese Border and Lao Cai by night!
Day 5 : Lao Cai Lake (B/L/D)
After breakfast, Spend 30 minutes to Lao CaiLake by vehicle…
Fish Lao Cai’s Lake offers anglers dream carp & catfish & capu fishing in Vietnam at a quiet & mountain setting. Normal carp : 4lb to 18lb, Grass Carp: 3lb to 12lb, Bighead carp : 8lb

End of this day, You will then take an one hour car ride uphill to the beautiful town of Sapa. The ride gives you a glimpse of the stunning vistas and impressive rice terraces that make Sapa famous with travelers.

Day 6: Sapa Trekking (B/L/D)
Have breakfast and Start out with 7km of walking down to the south east of Sapa along the side of Muong Hoa valley to Y Linh Ho Village of the Black H’mong to see those sensual patterns of the terraces from above. And then 3km trekking down to Lao Chai Village, 4 km through terraced rice fields to Ta Van Village of the Dzay minority people. Have picnic lunch at a local family, where you can see the local house architecture and witness local daily life styles and exclusive customs. Enjoy the landscapes in the afternoon from Local Hosue and free at leisure the rest of the day at Local Homestay until dinner.
Day 7: Sapa Trekking (B/L/D)
We start the trip after breakfast, heading up to Giang Ta Chai village of the Red Dzao tribe where you will have lunch. Amazing scenery and beautiful waterfall are to be seen in the afternoon before going up to the main road where you will be picked up by your car. Ride back to Sapa and you might stop some times on the way to take photos of the fabulous valley of Sapa .Check in and have dinner at local restaurant. Overnight at Hotel in Sapa town
Day 8 : Sapa to Hanoi (B/L)
Breakfast in hotel, the rest of the morning is free to explore the town on your own. After lunch you check out and drive back to Hanoi via Lao Cai Express Road. It will take 5hours to arrival Hanoi. Upon arrival to Hanoi City, end of services. You are free to travel onward or stay in Vietnam on your own arrangement.

Day 9 : Halong Bay Cruise overnight on Boat (B/L/D)
Head east to spectacular Halong Bay, studded with craggy karst pinnacles and traversed by traditional junks.
We leave Hanoi early this morning for the four-hour drive east to Halong Bay. We board our comfortable Chinese-style junk boat, the Bai Tho, in late morning and set sail into the wonderful scenery of the bay. During the course of the afternoon the ship will make a stop for an excursion. This might be at an island with fabulous views over the bay; a spectacular limestone cave; or one of the area’s remarkable floating villages, where the locals live in brightly-coloured houses built on rafts in the middle of the bay. There is also the chance to swim or hire a kayak for some personal water-borne exploration.
Day 10-11 : Hoi An Old Town (B/L)
After coming into port today we’ll be picked up on arrival and driven to Hanoi Airport for our flight south to Danang, from where it’s a short journey by road to our hotel in the beautiful town of Hoi An. Our hotel is located on the edge of the pedestrianised Old Town, about 25 minutes’ walk or a five-minute taxi ride from the centre. The remainder of the day is at your leisure to begin exploring.
On day 11, a morning walking tour of the Old Town will help you get your bearings sufficiently to make the most of your afternoon at leisure. The pool at the resort hotel is inviting, or the many wonderful riverside cafes and restaurants might appeal for a spot of people-watching.
For those of a more active persuasion bikes can be hired to get out into the countryside, or your tour leader could help you to arrange a cookery class or a visit to the Cham Dynasty ruins at My Son, an hour’s drive from town.
Day 12-13: Hue imperial Capital (B/L)
Visit Vietnam War era tunnels and an ancient emperors’ residence in Hue, the former capital of the Nguyen lords.
On the morning of day 6 we will leave Hoi An and move on by road to Hue, a journey along one of the most scenic routes in Vietnam, the Pass of the Ocean Clouds. After checking in to our hotel, the remainder of the day is at leisure to explore.
On day 13, following a morning of guided exploration at the huge Citadel, home of the Nguyen Emperors, and a cyclo tour through the Old Town, we take a picturesque boat ride up the Perfume River, named for the fragrance of tropical flowers carried down from orchards upriver, to the Thien Mu Pagoda.
The afternoon is then yours to continue your exploration. The countryside surrounding the city is dotted with the tombs of the former emperors, and you may wish to add one or more of these into your itinerary. Two of the finest are the imposing Mausoleum of Tu Duc, and Khai Dinh’s Tomb and the European-influenced resting place of the final Nguyen Emperor.
Day 14 : Phong Nha National Park (B/L)
Explore the incredible caves of Phong Nha National Park, including the recently discovered Paradise Cave.
On the morning of day eight we will be picked up from our hotel in Hue and be driven to Phong Nha National Park, home to some of the world’s most spectacular caves. Along the way we will leave the highway to make a stop at the Vinh Moc Tunnels. This vast tunnel network was used as a refuge during the Vietnam war, with hundreds of people living in them. The afternoon will be at leisure to take in the stunning mountain scenery of the park and to relax at out hotel overlooking the lake. explore this remote and beautiful jungle region; swimming at Nuoc Mooc Spring, where water ushers forth from a nearby cavern, and experiencing some of the largest and finest caves in Asia. An undoubted highlight will be the vast cathedral-like edifice of Paradise Cave, deep in the mountains of the park.

Day 15 – 16-17: Ho Chi Minh city (B/L)
Day 15: Fly south to Ho Chi Minh City for two final days of sightseeing, including the Presidential Palace, Benh Thanh Market and a cruise on the Mekong Delta.
On the morning of day ten we continue our journey south with a flight to Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam’s most energetic and electric city. We are staying at a great value hotel in a fantastic location just behind the Opera House and surrounded by bustling streets full of cafes, restaurants and shops.
District One, where our hotel is located, is an incredibly accessible area with many of the city’s highlights, including the former Presidential Palace, Notre Dame Cathedral, Benh Thanh Market and Dong Khoi Street, all of which are within walking distance. You tour leader will head out with you this afternoon to introduce a few of the city’s best sights. For those who are interested, there will also be time to make the trip out of town to the Cu Chi Tunnels, a network of underground passages built by the Viet Cong when fighting the Americans during the Vietnam War.
On day 16 we slow the pace as we head south from the city into the evocative Mekong Delta. There are few more relaxing experiences than a cruise through the laid-back tropical world of the delta – we board in Ben Tre and sail downriver past mountains of coconuts and heavily-laden rice barges to the Mango Homestay, where we stop for a tasty home-prepared lunch.
After lunch we explore the local villages and fruit orchards by bike, seeing local handicrafts and cottage industries, before returning to Ho Chi Minh City in the late afternoon. A final group dinner rounds off our adventure, with a last chance to reminisce on the highlights of the trip and exchange addresses before parting ways the following day.
Sadly, on day 17 the adventure is over and , you will be taken to Ho Chi Minh International Airport by your tour leader or a guide and waved off on your return flight home.
