Dong Anh Lake is a 1.5 acre lake set in 1 acres of private rice-field situated 10kms west of Hanoi in the Dong Anh region of Vietnam. If you are travelling by car the lake is 10km from Hanoi Old Quarter .
Black Carp currently go to in excess of 50lbs with the lake record a 55lb mirror black carp. You can access the lake all the way round and can fish from the comfort of the grassy bank or go roaming round the rice-field side to stalk carp from under the overhanging bushes and mature trees. There are lots of features from shallow areas, to deep holes to overhanging bushes and trees so don’t forget to take your marker rod.
The normal fishing arrangements are one of our guides will collect you morning at a pre-arranged time from your hotel in Hanoi and take you to the swims with all your tackle set up in the van ready to go and will check on you during the day and bring you lunch to the bank while you are fishing,
Your guide will give you advice on the best methods to fish the swims and details of depths, snags etc.
With 2days fishing & drinking to catch the monster carp in Dong Anh Lake will be the unmemorable fishing time in your life.
You will spend a night in sleeping tent so time is your decision, you are available to fishing all night or rest in your tent depending how you wish.
Other Vietnamese fisher will sharing the lake during your stay here, so you will have time to see how is different fishing ways between westerner fisher & theme.
We have bait available in Vietnam in the form of pop up boilies in sizes of 10mm for hook baits . We can also prepare live snail for baiting up.
