Kingfisher Lake is 2 and half acre lake located in Ninh Binh, It is approximately 2 hours 3drive from Hanoi city, 15 minutes from Ninh Binh city.

The lake can be hired exclusively for up to 6 anglers or booked on a per angler basis. Accommodation is available to be booked at an additional cost
should you require it making this venue ideal if you are taking the family or wife or partner.

There are a good head of 10s and 20lb normal carp with black carp to over 50lbs and catch numbers of 30 plus fish per angler for the day are not
uncommon. The lake record as of 2017 is 38lbs for the largest mirror and 20lbs for the largest common.

There are large catfish to over 40lbs if you can land them! 30lb plus line with 60lb reinforced braid is recommended if you are targeting the catfish.

Itinerary

Day 1 : Pick up from Hanoi or Ninh Binh / fishing day

– Time pick up : No time set, flexible to departure any time on request

– 2 hours drive to Lake from Hanoi
– 15 minutes from Ninh Binh

Around 7.30 am you will be picked up from your hotel and transferred by comfortable van or minibus to Kingfisher Lake (Approx 2 hours) light snakes & drinks will be served along the journey.

Once you have arrived at the lake and you have had time to unpack you will be ready to go out for your first morning session of Carp fishing on the lake.

Day 2 : Fishing Day

Start your first 2 days Carp fishing Ninh Binh looking for those Grass Carp and Black Carp on each day you will fish both a morning session and afternoon / evening session. During lunch you will return to the famer house which is very close by.

Day 3 : Fishing Day

You can spend the early morning fishing before its time to pack for the road trip back to Hanoi .
