The lake is stocked with big Shutchi catfish to over 74lb, commons to over 63lb and Yellowtail catfish to over 61lb and we have many, many fish over the 50lb bracket. There are also Catfish to 122lb, if you dare! Fish of this size are not always easy to catch in any of our fishing lakes so we would class this lake as a medium difficulty water, interesting to seasoned and novice anglers alike. However…some carp anglers make it look very easy! Each week sees huge fish on the bank and most of our clients go away with new records.
Day 1: Arrival and Orientation
After your arrival at the lake around 9h00AM, you’ll be served a fresh water or soft drink and the guide will give you a brief rundown of the map and show you the main fishing locations throughout the lake.
We begin with a quick technical briefing so that you’re confident and ready for your adventure. Rig fishing may seem like an easy activity, but, you need to know how to stay safe and sound.
Then our expert guide will demonstrate some angling techniques and help you select your equipment. Then, it’s time for your first catch of the day! We’ll head out to the main fishing locations and you’ll try your hand at Rig fishing during a glorious sunlight.
When we’re done with fishing for the day, we’ll come back to hotel and enjoy a dinner at local restaurant, before heading out to our cozy rooms.
Day 2: All day Fishing and Departure
Today, you’ll be able to immerse into the art of fishing, surrounded by a panorama of the rural area.
You’ll have hands-on practice in designing and crafting rig, a must-have skill to make sure the Rig stays inviting enough for the fish to strike. Later on, we’ll talk about angling methods and the guide will share some tips about being a successful angler.
If you have a particular interest in a specific fish species, let the instructors know and they’ll do their best to help you meet your goals.
On the last day of our fishing tour, we’ll have breakfast and make the most of the remaining time, by fishing in some main fishing locations.
Don’t forget to take a deep breath of fresh rural air and bask in the calm nature during fishing time
Late of this afternoon , you will be transferred back Ho Chi Minh city and say our goodbyes. Until the next adventure!
